Research on the EOR has drawn upon social exchange (Blau, 1964) and the inducements–contributions model (March & Simon, 1958) to provide the theoretical foundation to understanding the employee and employer perspectives to the exchange the assumptions associated with popular frameworks, including who is party to the relationship, the norm of reciprocity as a functioning rule, and the value of the resources exchanged.

Each and every one of us are a part of workforce  and it’s a common secret that there is always the possibility of workplace employee relationship issues. If these issue are negligible and unresolved in long term it can snowball into more serious issues. Developing good employee relations is crucial to fostering a positive work environment .Employee relations will always be faced with challenges and issues. To avoid complications with leave issues HR should be good enough to track better and effective ways especially dealing with leave cases such as sick leaves, stress leaves, and parental leaves. Additionally, planning for peak vacation periods in advance can help avoid conflicts and disruptions within the team. Have to pre organize the leave according to a transparent leave policy can finish leave requests with an peaceful minds.

When dealing with attendance issues like frequently commit to work late and taking extended breaks will create disruption to team productivity, resentment, and increased workload on others.so leadership will need monitor attendance and identify patterns of absenteeism and issues. employers promote accountability among their workforce. Additionally, flexible work arrangements can improve employee work-life balance and reduce absenteeism.

Interpersonal Conflicts

As we are dealing with human beings in our work places , interpersonal conflict in the workplace is very common due to personal reasons, different points of view, or even work-related reasons. Employees are from different back grounds can even end up in physical fights and injuries.

To prevent interpersonal conflicts can be done by listening to each other, appreciate the fact that employees have concerns too and listen to their frustrations, identifying the root causes of conflicts can help prevent their recurrence in the future. In complicated problems, involving a neutral third party can facilitate condition can end up with  conflicts with better  understanding and collaboration manner .

Workplace Safety- In every organization providing a secure work environment is crucial and encouraging everyone to prioritize their well-being .Workplace injuries, reduced morale, and decreased productivity may result in bad employee health and safety systems. So its vital to identify potential hazards, ensuring the safety of employees and  Implementing employee training and awareness programs, safety concerns and take corrective actions promotes a culture of safety with in the organization.

Performance Issue sand  Workplace Bullying and Discrimination  -Performance issues occur when employees fails to meet targets given to them. Direct impact of less performance can be identified as reduced team morale, potential impact on overall performance, and stress while working .

To overcome this issue regular performance evaluations is excellent way to identify areas for improvement and recognize achievements. And then Providing constructive feedback and coaching, setting clear goals Offering training and development opportunities, can help employees overcome performance challenges.

Psychological distress, decreased morale, and potential legal consequences can result in Workplace bullying and discrimination. Having a zero-tolerance policy for bullying and discrimination creates a supportive environment. Have to educate employees about regular anti-bullying and diversity training sessions to  raise awareness.

HR departments play a vital role in creating and implementing a framework for resolving employee relations issues. skills such as active listening, conflict resolution, and empathy is critical. Organizations can foster a culture of trust and respect by addressing conflicts promptly and fairly, resolving pay disputes, ensuring workplace safety, and effectively managing performance issues. However, the way leadership handles such issues can create or break business image. As a top talent in business senior positions in the organization,  have to take  the responsibility to prevent issues before happening and address them professionally  being fair to every one .
